Cheerful Sunflowers...

... Just for you!
This morning I arranged this summery sunny bunch, to especially thank each lovely person who left a comment on my latest posts! Thank you, your friendly and sweet words mean a lot to my little heart! ;)

I took these pictures on the wooden stairs which lead to the orchard, and used this rusty lantern as part of the display...

I *LOVE*LOVE*LOVE* sunflowers!!! I have painted sooo many and have used hundreds of them in my craft, over the last 15 years! Maybe I'll show you some of my past works, sooner or later.

As for now... have a cheery end of the week!
Monica.

  13. Hi Monica,
I'm sorry that you are feeling so down, I can only hope that these beautiful postcards will brighten your day.
YES, I do follow your blog though, for the past several weeks, I've been having problems with my computer and haven't had a chance to log in to see what's happening...I'm sorry I missed your blog.
PLease allow me to send these postcards your way. Please provide me with the best way to do so..perhaps a PO Box and your home address.

    Thank you,
    Donna Warrington

When I feel down, I always think of the following: "May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let his presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

  16. I love sunflowers. Unfortunately I have tried to grow them several times and the squirrels lop off their heads just when they start blooming! Your arrangement looks so adorable in the watering can.

  18. Hi Monica, I love sunflowers too. It's about time for me to put up my sunflower wreath for the rest of summer to fade into the beautiful shades of autumn. I hope all is well. I too have been going through some life issues so I totally understand your wish for the simple things, dog drool from a sloppy warm kiss, laying on the bed with the fan blowing, and reading a good book to drown out daily life. Thinking of you,
    Kris

  20. Your sun flowers are so refreshing! Love the use of those colors & the lantern. It is so HOT here I can't stand it! Sufficating! Reba refuses to go out other than to run out to take care of business & then dashes back in. We go to the vets tomorrow to see if her blood work is better. She was diagnosed with thyroid disease & she is on medicine & a huge diet. No more cookies. Already starting to have kidney failure.
