Lazy Days...

Please let me indulge a bit in some well- deserved rest!
As you might know if you have been following me for a while, I had a very difficult period in 'real' life, and I am doing better, thank you to all of you who dearly asked, but now I am REALLY emotionally and physically exausted, and find it difficult to bone up on demanding tasks...
Kim perfectly agrees with me, and loves to allow herself some little naps during the day (... I do that too! LOL)!

I dedicate to do simple and relaxing things, such as cutting lavender from the luxuriant bushes in the garden...

... baking bread...

... cutting scented herbs from the orchard, preparing useful bunches to be dried...

... and enjoying alfresco snacks (the one featured here, with freshly baked bread and olive oil) at twilight.

I also would like to apologize for not returning/leaving so many comments during this period. I cannot stay at the computer that much, and I also am experimenting a very slow connection due to severe thunderstorms in the area where I live. Hope you'll understand.
You are all in my thoughts, and I'll try to catch up with all your beautiful and inspiring posts as soon as possible!

Hope you are having a very relaxing week and enjoying summertime,
Monica.

  5. No need to apologize. Blogging should be fun. I know a lot of folks post every day, but I do it when I have time or something worthwhile to post about. Once it get to be work that's when I will stop. At least for the time being.

  7. Monica, You just gave Teddy and I the most precious of all gifts. Wonderful pictures of dear sweet Kim. IT is amazing to me how much I love a dog I have never met or touched but I do. I always show Teddy her pictures.
Teddy has injured his leg and must take it easy for awhile and I have had issues with my health, so am taking a more relaxed look at life right now too. I do believe I shall take up watercolor painting. Have always wanted to try it. I do everything else, so why not. Take care dear, dear friend. I am always here. Love Sharon and ofcourse Teddy.

  15. No apologies needed Monica. I too stepped away for a bit to gather thoughts on events in my life and I must say it was the wiser decision. I feel more clear headed than I have in a very long time. Your KIM is beautifully and she always makes me feel like it's okay to just sit still and take it all in. Take your time & only post when your up to it. Be well.

  19. Wow, I am just finding out how difficult it is to keep track of all the comment. I am having giveaways on both blogs and I am running in circles. I know I am not replying to everything, but I have a list where I update the names of all people who comment, all followers, etc. That is much easier to keep current.

Take care and get some rest. Your blog is wonderful.
