Exciting Finds!

Hello dear Pinkies, followers and readers!
After some days of heavy rain, I finally managed to have some pictures of my latest finds taken! I know you were waiting for them!;) You bet my eyes popped out of my head when saw this treasure waiting for me at the thrift shop last week! An antique Muller sewing machine...

Aren't these flowers gorgeous? Just think when the design was fully visible... my oh my!

Have a super duper weekend everyone!

  2. Oh Monica Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday. I am so envious of you and this fabulous find. Oh my gosh this machine is gorgeous, and how beautiful it looks displayed with the linens and the flowers. It appears to have been taken such good care of. I love it that the flowers are still visible on the machine. So gorgeous.

What a beautiful find on your china. I love the little teacups and saucers. The little purple flowers almost appear to be violets. So pretty.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful day. Country hugs sweetie, Sherry

  24. It's unbelievable what some people will throw away - but maybe the china didn't fit the decor, or there simply wasn't room for it... their loss, your gain!

But oh! oh! the sewing machine! I am eaten up with envy - it's so lovely. I'd love to be able to have something like this, so decorative in and of itself, whether it sews or not. Alas, in a 1-bed flat, there's so little room to display anything (and any space we do have is all my art clutter). But I can live vicariously, so thank you so much for sharing this excellent and meant-in-Heaven find with us.

    Happy Pink Saturday, sweetie!

  44. Monica, you have got to be kidding me??? Throw them away??? NO! They are too pretty!!!

Years ago, I bought my mother six demaitasse coups and saucers in a Royal Grafton pattern that either matches or is similar to your sugar bowl. I had to smile when I saw it. I hope you enjoy that and all of your treasures. They're great, and I'm glad you found them. The flowers on the machine are lovely, too.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
