Repurposing an Old Project.

I have promised to repost some old projects every now and then... here is one of my favorites!
I am still in love with this pink basket, and I thought you, Beverly and the Pinkies would have liked to see it again.

The before... not that attractive, uh?

After two or three coats of pink spray paint...

... I painted it white with diluted acrylics, and then wiped them away!

A new pink- striped skirt and a fabric heart, and voilĂ ! Ready for a pink tea!

Do you notice that my styling and shooting style have evolved since 2008 when I took these? I DO!!
Have a wonderful Pink Saturday, even if you are not a Pinkie!;))

  6. Oh my, how pretty, Monica! I love the pink and it's different from other picnic baskets, which I love! The gorgeous peonies just set it off beautifully too. Thanks for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday to you.

  7. Hi Monica :) Your basket is just lovely painted pink! I purchased a sweet little wicker basket at a tag sale the other weekend, and plan to paint it pink, but first, need to get some more pink paint first, lol :)

I'm having a "CHRISTMAS IN JULY GIVEAWAY" at my blog, so come and stop over to check it out, it's a sweet xmas stocking all done in pretty rose prints, with a sweet Brundage girl Image :)

Happy Pink Saturday! Warmest hugs, Brenda

  12. Monica what a great project.
I am about to makeover a picnic basket to take away on 23rd July. My hubby and I are having a few days away so I wanted something 'pretty' to take with us for picnics. I just love picnics, doesn't matter that it is mid winter here in Australia picnics are fun any time

  17. Hi Monica,
I came from Bernideens Tea Time Blog and must say: What a nice idea to spray the basket pink. Now it fits phantastic into your vignette with this romantic doily and the rose flower. You love roses, do you? I do, too. You are a very talented photographer, that is a thing, I must learn to do better.
    Greetings, Johanna
