Enjoying Yellow!

Firstly, thank you very much for all your kind and lovely birthday wishes. You made my heart smile!
I have been really enjoying to paint yellow flowers lately... I do love bringing Spring indoors and into my art by using this sunny color!

My Mom's daffodils blossomed for me as birthday present last week!

... and the smaller ones, with orange heart, were of inspiration for this small watercolor that graces the pages of my sketchbook.

These are the tulips my parents gave me for my birthday... what a wondrous splash of color after the grey, cold winter days!

Have you seen the newest Country Living and Country Homes & Interiors (both British editions)? They are among my favorite Home decor magazines!

I really, really liked the features in yellow! Aren't those peonies, apron and yellow cornishware just gorgeous?

Hope I have brought a wee bit of Spring into your home too, today!
Monica x.

I love the watercolour & the little pink striped egg cup with brown egg is the perfect additon to your Spring Sketch ♥ It reminded me of Marjolein Bastin whose style is one I love and admire.

I love the British issues too. I can't even miss a month. They are kindda pricey here, but worth every penny.

And I forgot to wish you a Happy Belated Birthday greeting, I've been down sick so I hadn't persued Blogovia for a while... thankfully I'm now on the mend and catching up! Which is good because I hate to feel yucky during glorious weather!!!
