In a Dollshouse.

After I've experienced some clear signs of stress, due to all the situation about a very difficult move and heavy workload, my husband and I decided to take some time away to de- stress, and off we went to the Cotswolds!

We decided to spend our holiday in a typical Cotswolds cottage, and we landed up in a dollshouse :)

... with a gorgeous open fireplace and lots of character (drafts and the notoriously separated hot/cold water faucets included) !

My first purchases were a bunch of hyacynths and a yummy magazine!

I'll try to post some pictures on my blog everyday, internet connection permitting, it took some days and hubby's major help before I could have a (decent) one!... so stay tuned if you fancy a "live"glimpse of the Cotswolds!

  9. Now this looks like what DE-STRESS is all about! RELISH. The world works better when rested people influence the outcomes. DO IT and DO IT BIG TIME. :-)
    Thanks for sharing.

  11. One of my favorite spots I have visited! We rented a cottage down in a tiny fishing village in Cornwall as well...the quaintness, the memories...the charm! Both places hold a dear spot on my heart! I still keep a little pitcher from Bath on my counter...

    1. Love Cornwall as well, Kijsa! Glad you have such warm memories of these places. I'm looking for a pitcher myself... not sure if I want a vintage one or a country one... I've a thing for Cornishware, let's see if I find one of those, maybe!
