Joyful Simplicities#7

A posy of wild meadow daisies, Kim and I picked today, in my cornishware jug. The pleasure of having these on my work table equals that of our early morning strolls amidst a sea of colored wild flowers, with no one around- the brush of the warm summer breeze, the chirping of chatty birds and the intense scent of the crushed wild mint keeping us company.

  9. Hi Monica,
I love daisies! one of my most favorite little flowers. They are sure to bring sunshine into your home. Also how very creative of you to re-make your sewing basket, I love how it turned out and the colors and fabrics your used are so pretty. Well Done!!
I hope you are well. I'm sorry its been a while since I've left you a note, we have had a lot of family illness and Gary and I have been spending a lot of time at the hospital.
Sending you a really big hug,
    Elizabeth

  11. Beautiful combination, Monica – the starry brightness of the daisies and the crisp blue and white of the jug. Having flowers on one's desk is a joyful simplicity and a necessity!

Hope you are having a lovely week, dear.
