A couple of years ago, I bought these vintage lamps for the crystals, but of course, didn't throw the bases away! They might be useful one day, I thought.
This year, I found the just perfect use for them. A coat of gesso, toothpicks (or skewers), candles and greenery. ... Voilà! Pretty, vintage candle holders.

What a wonderful idea Monica,- I have often had candles in my hand with the purpose of "planting" them in different holders, with far too tiny holes for them ,-but never thought of the toothpicks... YOU are giving us a great ides, and the gessoed lamp feets looks gorgeous with the green and berries.
