If you ask me, there is something special about handmade things that store bought ones will never be able to replicate.
It's that warm and cozy feeling of home, of love, passion, JOY, patience, time spent doing what you love. Time invested to make something special for yourself and those you care about, as symbol of your affection and appreciation. All those things are "stitched" into the handmade item itself, and can be felt with the heart.
