⎨Random acts of kindness #2⎬
It was the very first time my dear blog friend Jillayne and I met in England. I was literally trembling with excitement (and a tad of fear at the same time) at the idea of meeting her, while she visited the Cotswolds all the way from Canada!
We had been blog friends for years, but you know, meeting in person is a totally different thing!
We love the same things, and one day she had mentioned that she was trying and trying to find red transferware dishes with no luck. It was one of her desires to own some of them!
So I instantly knew in my heart that I wanted to give her my own precious complete dessert set of red transferware, that I had finally found at an antique market after wanting it so bad myself (I don't know why, I've always found it very hard to find red transferware, too! I have plenty of blue pieces, but red tends to be really elusive... so much that I've never been able to find another complete set again).
Off for a stroll we went, around Stow-on-the-Wold, and we found a lovely tea room where to chat undisturbed (there was nobody else on the first floor).
And after a while, while we were sipping our tea and savoring our delicious dessert... TA DAAA!!! I took out my big parcel wrapped in red polka dotted paper!
She didn't expect it at all, and I was even more excited at that point, waiting to see her face once she opened it!!! :)
It was such a wonderful moment that I will remember forever!
My heart was overflowing with love and deep JOY... I nearly cried!
Such a beautiful random act of kindness from the heart. I feel very blessed to be able to experience these magical moments in my life.
Monica xoxo
