⎨New adventures, Nature walks, choosing JOY, a season of rest, outfits, Found Beauty... all at once!⎬
Over the past few months, since last November, I’ve been in a season of rest.
I’ve become very still and quiet, and I’ve deliberately decided to not “act” but to “listen”, instead. Fully open to whatever was going to be revealed to me through my Heart. Willing to be humble enough and obedient again, and follow the guidance of my Soul, wherever it was going to lead me.
Now that Spring has come, the fruits of that deep inner work of surrendering have started to make themselves very evident in my day-to-day life.
As part of this, I’ve recently felt inspired to take lots of teeny tiny (sometimes bigger and bolder!) inspired actions.
I have chosen more JOY, less work, less obligations, more free time for myself just doing nothing "productive", more pleasure, more fun, more openness, more connection with others (including being more vulnerable). I've chosen more adventures (in this post, one with my Mom that was totally unplanned!), more Beauty, more Nature, more ease in my habits, my wardrobe, my home, my nutrition, my life in general.
I will certainly keep you posted as I make further and further progress, and tell you more about this all on my blog in my future posts.
But today, I just wanted to share this adventure at the lake with my Mom, where we decided to go with the flow and see what happened! :)

I asked my Mom to take a few pictures of me to show you my outfit- and apparently, she did an entire photoshoot!! :) It was SO much fun that I want to post several of those pictures here... for you to
feel the JOY and fun of that day!
I had just organized my capsule wardrobe again, and took out what I wanted to wear this Spring and Summer. I actually purchased this sweater (... that I've always ADORED!!) when I was 18. Believe it or not, it still fits perfectly, it still is in perfect conditions (I take great care of my clothes) and I am still in love with it!
My guiding words for my wardobe are always simplicity, ease and practicality... and I must feel great in my clothes! I don't want a million different outfits... just what I love and adore wearing, what fits perfectly and makes me feel great in my body.
My clothes have to serve me- not the other way around!
Then we spotted two geese... and the white one (the female), even started walking after my Mom!
Hahaha, it was soo funny! Looked like Mother Goose (my Mom) with her baby behind her, wagging her tail! :)
Lots and lots of laughter!!
And then, it was time to go back to the car, where we had our picnic in the shade of a majestic tree.
I also found wild violets on the way, and spotted hundreds of yellow primroses and white wood anemones.
... THIS truly is the art of JOY!!!
Monica xoxo
