⎨Take responsibility for your inner peace and JOY⎬
Hello everyone!
Today I'm starting a blog series I've had in my heart for a while, but never managed to get started. Instead of keeping to tell myself that I don't have the time, I just started! :)
I decided to do it in a simple and spontaneous way, by offering you a journaling prompt for your daily journaling, so that we can explore these topics together. I'm doing it alongside you!
When I do my own journaling, always paired with some other self-care and self-love practices (like my Morning walk in Nature, for example), I am snapping some pictures to share with you. Easy peasy.
I've been on a conscious inner growth journey for more than 15 years so far, and one of the most powerful results of it has been taking responsibility for my inner peace and JOY.
Way too often we tend to simply respond to the outside circumstances of our life... but what I have discovered during all these years, is that we actually have more power on them than we think possible.
But many times, we don't really know how we can actually do something about them, especially when the circumstances of our life are causing us stress and discomfort.
One of the ways to take our power back is certainly by claiming our inner peace and JOY... yes, even in the middle of a storm. Or discomfort of any kind. Or simply, during very busy and stressful periods.
It is so simple, yet it's not something we usually think of. We just proceed on autopilot, trying so hard to navigate life going upstrem, so to speak, while the easiest and more joyful way would be going with the flow, instead.
My printable journaling deck, with journaling prompts and photos of the English countryside, that you can find in my shop if you want, here. |
I use my own Autumn Journaling Deck as an intuitive deck (that's how this was born, I actually created it for myself and now I've also added it to the shop, so that you can get it if you desire), and I pull out a card, or flip through the cards and see if there's one I'm particularly drawn to.
This practice is very nurturing for me, and it always gives me what I need.
Today, this card was the one to focus on...
"things to do more often".
So... what are the things that you feel inside you should do more of, to show up for yourself and claim your power back? To bring more and more inner peace and JOY into your life? What are the things that nourish you deeply, make you feel that sense of warmth inside your heart? What are the things that you need- right now?
True happiness, inner peace and JOY don't come from the outside world (even if we may tend to believe so), they come from within, so we need to cultivate them. And an especially effective way is to identify with clarity what creates for us that deep happiness and inner peace.
See you another day with another prompt.
Much love,
Monica xoxo
