I have to admit that over the years, because of my personal growth and healing journey, and the desire for a peaceful, clutter-free and highly simplified home and life, I have drastically reduced the amount of things that I create- and also, the type of things I create has changed a lot.
Nowadays I mostly love making practical and useful things for everyday life (tablecloths, pillows, curtains, quilts, aprons, etc.) and things that can be used and enjoyed but easily disposed or recycled afterwards. I've really come full circle, because these were the things I used to make (and loved making) many years ago, before I started doing decorative things- it was a practical choice since back then I had to furnish my new home!! :)
BUT...
I have always loved fabric hearts- making, gifting and receiving them- most of all because they are symbols. They are one of the few things I keep making and want to make.
These pictured below are made with wool fabric, and can be used for many occasions, including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Birthdays, Christmas and simply... as "Just Because" or "Thank You" gifts! I hope they'll inspire you to make your own if you, too, love hearts!
