⎨My "Just Show Up" Watercolor Journaling & Sketching Challenge 2025: day 3⎬
On April, 6th 2025, I kept showing up for my watercolor journaling & sketching practice.
I switched sketchbook again, because this time I wanted to work on one of my handmade spiraled sketchbooks, on watercolor paper, and on a larger format (this sketchbook I made is an A4).
I was inspired by all the sketches I had done the year prior (2024) in this particular sketchbook, doing two paintings every day, one from life, and one from photo.
I had the pansies from day 1 still blooming outside, so I went out, created another small posy with rosemary and pink forget-me-nots, and painted it again (this time in watercolor).
I wrote:
"I live for the simple things that fill my heart with JOY... A tiny posy with pansies, rosemary and pink forget-me-nots casually displayed in a jogurt jar makes me feel SO abundant!!"
"A glorious sunny day! I loved sitting outside with my straw hat, handmade blue quilt, and sketchbook... and savoring all the beautiful flowers, happy bees, and scented herbs. I must do that every day!!"
I have always loved France so much, since I was a teenager, travelling there with my Mom and Dad... and then with my husband... but over the past years this love has deepened and widened, and keeps me very inspired!! :)
