⎨DIW sweater jar hug⎬
I love crafting to keep myself happy! It's an intentional tool for my JOY and wellbeing...
And I love recycling and upcycling, giving new life to something that is destined to the bin, and instead has a lot of creative potential and shouldn't be discarded in the first place!
That's one of the reasons why I love old sweaters so much...
These are simple jar hugs that I've created with old sweaters, using sleeves that I then hemmed, and embellished with buttons.

They make wonderful little gifts, or they can be displayed in groups, like I did here on my kitchen windowsill.
I really think that they're perfect to hold posies of Winter flowers like Narcissus, hyacynths, anemones, Amaryllis, tulips. But I've also used them for pine and mistletoe, and even simple posies of bare branches.
They're so simple yet so lovely, aren't they?!
