⎨Snowdrop bliss!⎬
It's that time of year again... and I can't wait!!
Snowdrops are magical, and one of my favorite flowers ever! For about two decades now, I've been practicing a ritual, a self-care/JOY practice I created for myself, that revolves all around snowdrops! :)
Going out in Nature in the depths of Winter, when all is bare and often gloomy, to intentionally look for signs of life and the promise of Spring, and these beautiful, dainty flowers. And then photographing them, drawing and painting them. I have lots of photos, and pages and pages in my sketchbooks full of drawings and little paintings of these beauties...
They really fill my heart with JOY!
