⎨January naked cake⎬
This naked cake I made is one of my favorites of all times!
I made it with no recipe, just baked a sponge cake and then finished it off with mascarpone cream, like a regular tiramisu. The cake was soaked in coffee and a tad of brandy, and I even sprinkled chocolate drops for baking in between layers (and on top).
I finished it off with cocoa powder, a stag and star gingerbread cookie from a previous batch of cookies I had made, and a simple cardboard star I cut out from a cereal box, glittered, and then attached to a BBQ skewer.
Pinecones and a little fir branch from the mountains I so deeply loved completed my creation (I don't care at all; if you have concerns about using natural elements to decorate your cakes, just don't use them!).
