FORAGED AUTUMN WREATH IDEA

⎨Foraged Autumn wreath idea⎬
I love making foraged wreaths in all seasons, but especially in Autumn, when Nature is generous with all of her berries, foliage and colors!

One of the easiest ways is to use a ready- made wreath (or a DIY one) simply decorated with red berries.

In this case, I used  strings of these bright red, waxy-looking berries. They are called Black Bryony (or Tamus communis). It is a British native plant that makes its appearance on the hedgerows in the English countryside in Autumn.

But of course, you can use any other type of berries that you may find in your garden or in the countryside.

In this type of wreaths I don't use any wire or twine.

It is enough to wrap the berry strings around the wreath, and you're done! Easy peasy.

You can add a loop on the back of the wreath to hang on the door or in the garden.

Or use to decorate the outdoor table, with a nice red landern in the middle.

A little note if you use this type of berries: Black Bryony is poisonous (both the plant and the berries), so be careful if you have pets or young kids.

You can substitute it with any other red berry to create this same look, though!
